This blog was created in January 2026 by me, Amy. I'm a french woman in her thirties who loves to code. Long story short, I started coding in 2012 but I did it badly, of course, and learned by mimicry & fiddling. In 2026, I decided to learn properly and started doing the freeCodeCamp courses.
Amycodz follows my progress through that, and hosts the research I do simultaneously. I tend to ask myself a lot of questions that don't normally get asked; like why is that the convention? Why is that best practice? Why, why, why? Anyway, it's probably because of the autism.
